We deliver kitchen extensions with a complete design and build service tailored to your requirements. Following a site assessment, we prepare architectural drawings and handle any necessary approvals. Construction is carefully coordinated by your site manager. We also manage all trades involved, including plumbing, electrics, glazing, and final installations. 
By extending into the side passage of your property, we can create a more spacious and open ground floor layout. We oversee each stage, from the first design discussions through to the final details. A dedicated site manager coordinates the works throughout. Projects generally span 12–16 weeks and suit period homes particularly well. 
We specialise in converting loft spaces into comfortable and practical additions to the home. The process begins with a consultation and evaluation of the existing roof structure. We then manage design development and regulatory requirements. Our experienced team completes all construction and finishing works under dedicated supervision.

We manage the design and approval stages on your behalf. Construction is then delivered with consistent oversight and communication.

After discussing your objectives, we prepare detailed architectural drawings and arrange required approvals. Construction is then carried out under the supervision of a dedicated site manager. We remain involved until all works have been completed.

We used Thames Design and Build for our single storey kitchen extension and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. They helped us with the inital design and ideas through to architects plans and submission for planning permission. We then went on to use them for the build. From start to finish we found them to be professional, reliable, knowledgable and work to very high standards. Although we had a couple of unforseen challenges during the build - Thames Design & Build came up with solutions quickly and efficiently. Our project was spot on in terms of budget and timings. Communication at all times was excellent and the end result really did exceed our expectations. We would definitely use Thames Design & Build again in the future and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, knowledgable design and construction company.

We were really happy with our experience with Thames Design. We did a full house renovation which took around 10 months and throughout that time the team were consistently helpful, professional, and easy to work with. They kept the process feeling as smooth as possible and were always responsive when we had questions or needed support.
There were a few minor issues along the way as you’d expect with a large project, but everything was handled quickly and efficiently. For example, we initially received the wrong front door from the supplier, but it was sorted out very promptly with no hassle. They were also great at offering recommendations such as bathrooms companies, moulding/cornice companies, carpets, door companies, which really helped us make decisions and achieve a result we’re very pleased with. We were also very happy with their chosen subcontractors such as electrician, plumbers and decorators.
Our quote came in on budget with any variances being due to changes we made. Based on the quality of work and service we received, we would definitely recommend the team and would use them again for future projects.

We have had very positive experiences working with Rob and his team to design and build our rear extension. The overall estimates were accurate and honored throughout, variations were discussed and agreed in advance and our project site lead, Ryan, was present and communicative throughout. The whole team respected our home and took care to leave it as they found it.

TD&B designed and built a wrap around single storey kitchen extension, installed a toilet and new bathroom and took out a chimney. We are really pleased with the work and all of the guys that worked on the job, who were friendly and professional throughout and mindful of our neighbours. The different specialists worked seamlessly together from our perspective. Our foreman Marlon in particular was exceptional in pulling the whole thing together and he is brilliantly solution- and customer- focussed. We are very glad we picked TD&B . The contract and quote were very professional and transparent and the only variations were ones we expected or resulted from choices we made. All of the pricing, including variations, was very clear and the accounting speedy. Communication was great throughout. All finished on time too.

TDB designed and built a one storey wrap around extension for us and also refurbished two bathrooms. We were very pleased with quality of the work, which was completed in accordance with the contracted budget (although we did ask for a few extras on top, which meant additional cost). It was also completed in accordance with the agreed timescale with only a small overrun for completion of snagging. The site manager Ryan and his team were unfailingly pleasant and helpful and made a number of suggestions as the work progressed to enhance the original plan. Highly recommended.

We contacted Thames Design & Build to help us with a bathroom renovation. Declan and his team carried out the fitting and we are delighted with the finished bathroom.

We can honestly say that Thames Design & Build offer and give a great service. They were quick to respond with clear and concise quote. Their team arrived on time and kept us up to date with a schedule, timings and variations. Everything is handled by a project manager but all members of the team were polite and more than happy to explain anything. We commissioned them for a rebuild project. Quality of workmanship has been great and any problems quickly resolved. Great customer service, communication and workmanship. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.
