| Key skills: | • Designing of New Build, extensions, alternations and additions. • Negotiate the construction project and manage the process from conception through to completion. • Meeting with other professionals and clients at an early stage to agree on the project brief. • Submission of Project application for full LA Planning approval and approval under the Building Regulations. • Preparing and presenting design proposals using computer-aided design (CAD) and traditional drawing methods. • Designing practical, functional and safe buildings in accordance with current legislation. • Co-ordinate and manage contractors on site to ensure successful project delivery. • Carry out existing building surveys using Lasers, Measurement Tapes, Telescopic Measuring Stick/Rod, Digital Spirit Level etc., taking photographs to support the existing drawings and produce existing plans using AutoCAD software for precise drawings. |

I can also design practical, functional and safe building in accordance with current legislation, maintaining a high level skill on AutoCAD standard details, sections and scheduled performing field verification of building conditions, assisting in the development of best practice residential unit layout, environmental awareness in respect to construction techniques and materials. I have the ability to manage and coordinate contracts for new build, extension and refurbishment projects, I can work under pressure and within time scales. I have an aptitude and demonstrable record of CPD (Continued Professional Development). High proficiency of Auto CAD Drawings and good working knowledge of IT packages like AutoCAD 14, 2000, 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 & 2008 and Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Desktop publishing. Specialised on AutoCAD Architectural 2008 (previous name was ADT). I also have extensive experience of the Internet and E-Mail. I hold a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Card and a clean UK Driving licence. |
