Thrive is an award-winning architectural practice operating from multiple offices, including Romsey, Portishead and Camberley. We provide professional architectural related services including urban design, architecture and graphic design delivered by a diverse team of professionals. We have extensive experience in delivering residential design solutions, particularly on challenging and sensitive sites. Our continually expanding portfolio of work covers masterplanning, urban extensions and mixed-use communities; residential development; house type portfolio work; extra care accommodation; care and retirement villages; commercial offices, retail and hotel development and the occasional large private house.
Established for over 40 years, Thrive has particular expertise in the residential and retirement sectors our work encompasses masterplanning urban extensions for mixed-use communities, residential scheme development, extra care housing, care homes and retirement villages. We have developed a thriving practice across our offices in Romsey, Portishead and Camberley. Working hard to build a strong and enthusiastic team with all levels of experience, this is reflected in the way we solve problems through design.
As well as his role overseeing the practice, Peter remains very much hands-on leading residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects for both developer and landowner clients. Peter also specialises in the design of retirement villages, care homes, extra care housing and designing for dementia. Peter has particular expertise in traditional and classical architecture having worked with the Duchy of Cornwall on several award-winning traditional design schemes. Allison's role has diversified over the years, to encompass all financial aspects of the practice along with HR matters and the corporate legalities of running the Thrive studios.
