BWP Architects can undertake an initial briefing and produce Feasibility Studies to examine different ways to maximise opportunities on the site, prepare sketch massing proposals, alternative architectural styles, prepare outline advice on possible planning difficulties, etc. while responding to the specific constraints and opportunities offered by the site, its surroundings and adjacent buildings.
This service is predominantly aimed at small developers rather than private clients.
One of the main parts of the work we do is to help private clients who are looking for new bespoke homes.
These can either be replacement dwellings on a site with an existing building or on an empty site.
Each project is tailored to the client's needs; be it a highly contemporary eco-home or a more traditional style home we have the skills and experience to successfully deliver.
We offer the full range of services from the initial designs advice through construction drawings and dealing with your builders on site if you wish.
As well as designing new homes, BWP Architects will also undertake large projects to extend and remodel private client's existing homes.
Typically, the remodelling projects we get involved in have construction budgets ranging from 0. 5m to 2m.
We have worked with a number of small local developer over the years, typically on small sites suitable or up to six or so units.
With the vast majority of this type of project the client often requires both our planning and design services followed by the preparation of the construction information, leaving the works on site to their own in-house teams.
