AiR was set up in 2003 by Kate Cheyne and Jo Townshend and is now a four person practice with a varied portfolio of work from bespoke houses and cafes to community centres and key worker housing. The Practice has successfully delivered complex design projects consisting of tight budgets, constrained sites and ambitious, but considered designs. AiR is led by the desire to be thorough in the analysis but be playful with the design.
